Annual Botanical Printing Reunion
2026:
Saturday, Sept 12, 11 AM - 5 PM, Sunday, Sept 13, 9:00 AM - 3 PMPrinter alumni!
I’m excited to announce the Botanical Print Reunion. This is an opportunity for anyone who has studied botanical printing here to come back for studio time, reconnection, and show and tell.
This will be a very casual, unstructured gathering. The goal is to have designated studio time to print, ask questions, reconnect with each other and be inspired by each other’s work. Feel free to come and go as your time allows.
How will it work? The studio will be set up for printing and all materials and supplies will be provided. You only need to bring yourself. (However, if you’d like to bring things from home you are welcome to do so.)
I will provide:
Steamers, barrier plastic, dowels, twine, carrier blankets.
One mordant kit per person
2 yards of assorted cotton fabric per person
Several pots of tannins and natural dyes
Light lunches, snacks, hot tea, sparkling beverages
Myself for question answering or tips if helpful
You should bring:
Yourself
Your own pre-mordanted fabric (optional)
Your own unmordanted fabric to mordant here if desired (optional)
Your own tannins or dyes (optional, but please plan to share if you bring these)
Snacks to share (optional)
Available for purchase on site:
Ready to mordant fabric
Mordant kits
If anyone wants to extend their stay with lodging, please email, call or text Anna Geyer to reserve lodging or to ask additional questions. landalliancefolk@gmail.com. 319.325.6609.
