Anna Geyer, who manages the agroforestry acres at Land Alliance, will share what she’s learned about establishing and maintaining an elderberry field, plus what she’s learned about production, processing and packaging. She’ll also discuss how she’s working toward long-term ecological health with perennials on the farm.
Guests will have the opportunity to pick berries and use the de-stemmer to remove them from the stems. Each guest will get a pint of berries to take home. Additional berries will be available for purchase.
Light snacks highlighting the elderberry products will be served.
